Chemical solutions for managing water shut off
Challenge Overview
Reservoir EngineeringWell OperationsProduction TechnologyChemicalOil
Description
We are looking for advanced chemical technologies for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and improved injectivity in North Sea offshore environment. The solution should ideally be capable of delivering the following things:
- Manage produced water in reservoirs and wells. For example, by modifying relative permeability, improving areal sweep, zonal isolation, sealing annular leaks or other conformance control techniques to reduce water influx.
- Must be commercially available and either comply or be likely to comply with the Norwegian continental shelf environmental regulations.
- Should be compatible and must not interfere with topside equipment operation and maintenance.
- The amount and type of chemical solution must not worsen the quality of discharged produced water.
- Compatible with reservoir conditions and not cause scaling or souring.
- No risk of formation damage.
- Include deployment strategies that are cost-effective and operationally feasible in the North Sea environment.
- Include integrated monitoring or modeling tools to optimize injection and performance
If you have a solution which meets at least 3 or more of the above requirements, we will be happy to learn more about it. Please drop us a message and we will be in touch. Thank you.
